Dr. Giovanni Marra

I joined ABN Amro as a Senior Tibco Specialist and today I am a Chapter Lead of one of the development chapters created. 

I work for the Process Automation Grid, that is driving the paper less transition within the Bank. Below the projects I worked for:

• ProFlow is a TIBCO based application that groups some services belonging to the ABN AMRO partner banks in France, Germany and Belgium.

  The application exposes a front-end completely done in TIBCO BPM, and back-end side is a synergy among TIBCO BPM and BW. As a Senior DevOps Engineer  I contribute to the project designing and implementing integration flows for France. Moreover I collaborated to the design and implementation of monitoring and exception handling tools in order to prevent system outage.

• PoC Tibco BW and BPM on Azure. I was part of the team that made a PoC about the migration of Tibco BPM and BW application to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

• The PDAR project takes care of the products life-cycle within the ABN AMRO bank cross countries. My role is to establish the right architecture for the new software, design, implement and document what needs to be done, and guide team mates to achieve high quality standards.

• Along with my Team and Technical lead roles, I was promoted as Chapter Lead due to my strong knowledge of Tibco products and good guidance skills. 

  My Chapter has 10 members and is focused on Tibco BPM and BW technologies. I am taking care of recruiting and hiring new people as well as  budget management.

• NPS2CMS

This project (part of the biggest migration) is meant to migrate business clients to the new SOA system. I am in charge of collecting the requirements, design, document and develop the business process in order to replace and close the business debit card.

• API from/to TIBCO BW

Design, documentation (use case diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram) and development of an API Manager component in order to consume and expose API in TIBCO without the use of the TIBCO plugin (REST plugin).

• Custom card approval flow

Design and implementation, using PEGA, of a business flow in order to approve or reject the custom image uploaded by the customer based on the ING image policies.

• V-Pay

Collect the requirement, design and document the business flow (flow diagram, sequence diagram, use cases and test cases) for the implementation of a debit card with a different brand (V-Pay).

• NPS2CMS

This project (part of the biggest migration) is meant to migrate consumer clients to the new SOA system. I was in charge of developing a new business process to create a new customer debit card.

Customer Programme 

Design and implementation of an integration platform and business processes between legacy systems and SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer), tech, and chapter lead of a SCRUM team.

The system is meant to integrate all the information about the service provided by the travel agency to SAP C4C like flights, accommodations, excursions, and cruises.

Involved in the design and development of business processes in order to integrate and onboard business clients into the system. This mainly consists of the design and implementation of a new adapter for the client applying specific business rules.

Installation and configuration of TIBCO stack.

AMA SpA

• Design and implementation of a monitoring dashboard with TIBCO GeneralInterface in order to monitor the TIBCO services.

• Installation and configuration of the TIBCO stack, design and development of the integration processes in order to integrate legacy systems with SAP.

Fideuram

Maintenance of the existing TIBCO BusinessWorks processes, TIBCO iProcess procedures and development of new functionalities (BW and iProcess).
